About

What it does

Install the whole set of official UserTasks form controls at once. Each control lands in Extensibility → Form controls, enabled, and appears in the form designer's Custom palette, ready to drag onto a form.

The pack carries the controls only. The address search control needs a lookup source on the field (the single Address search package also ships the Google Places integration, API reference and a sample form), the map needs an administrator to approve its tile hosts, and the saved report and chart controls need a report chosen in the designer. Every other control works as soon as it is installed.

After installing

  1. Install the package: every control appears in Extensibility → Form controls and in the form designer's palette under Custom.

Capabilities and security

Lookups
Suggestions come from the field's lookup source — a data table, or an API reference the UserTasks server calls with credentials stored on the server. The control only sees the suggestions.
Saved reports
Rows of the saved report the designer chose (the field's report_id, read by the server from the stored form), run as the person filling in the form: only reports they can open, with their permissions.
Network
Fetches only from the hosts in its manifest, and only after an administrator approves them in Extensibility → Form controls. Until then the frame's CSP blocks every request. Map tiles come through the UserTasks server (public tile servers refuse the sandboxed frame's referrer-less requests), only once the tile host is approved. Hosts: tile.openstreetmap.org.
Files
Uploads go through the Attachments pipeline (the same checks and storage). Reads are limited to files the form already gives the control: its own value, or an Attachments field the designer maps.

Install

Install it in your workspace

Works on UserTasks cloud and any self-hosted instance. The control lands in Extensibility → Form controls, enabled, and appears in the form designer's Custom palette.

In the app

  1. Open Extensibility → Form controls → Browse gallery (it opens Packages → Browse gallery on the Form controls tab) and choose Install on Form controls starter pack. Or download form-controls-starter-pack-1.0.0.utpkg and drag it onto Automations → Packages.
  2. The wizard verifies the checksum, every file hash and the signature, and shows what it adds.
  3. In Extensibility → Form controls, an administrator approves tile.openstreetmap.org.
  4. Drag the control onto a form in the designer and set its properties.
