Integrations

OpenAPI and Postman import

Turn an OpenAPI 2/3 or Postman document into an integration with one reference per operation.

Import an API description instead of defining references by hand. UserTasks reads OpenAPI 2 (Swagger), OpenAPI 3 or a Postman collection (JSON or YAML), creates an integration from the first server URL and security scheme, and one reference per operation with typed inputs from its parameters and request body.

bash
# send the document as the body…
usertasks integrations import-openapi -f petstore.yaml
# …or wrap it to choose the name, base URL, auth and a subset of operations
usertasks integrations import-openapi --set spec=@petstore.yaml --set name="Pet store" \
  --set base_url=https://petstore.example.com/v2 --set selected_reference_indexes:='[0,2,5]'

In the app, Integrations → Import previews every operation before anything is created. Credentials are never taken from the document; add them to the integration afterwards.
